The Prudential - Davis Productivity Awards are presented annually to permanent, full-time, individual state employees, plus teams, work units, partnerships and agencies that clearly exceed performance expectations and job descriptions in ways that improve core state functions and save money for Florida taxpayers and businesses. Cash awards of $200 to $2,500, commemorative plaques and certificates of commendation are given based on the level of achievement.

All state employees, supervisors, and managers are encouraged to submit nominations for the 2009 awards competition. The deadline for submitting nominations to your Agency Awards Coordinator is during the month of September. Please verify your respective agency's submission deadline date with your Agency Coordinator, as dates may vary per agency. Award winners will be notified by March 16, 2009, and presentations will be held throughout the state in June 2009.

Private citizens are strongly encouraged to recommend individuals who have provided exemplary public service.
