Immigration Laws & Visa Policy Summit

Thank you Summit Sponsors, Speakers and Attendees for making this event such a success – We’ve only just begun!

Coming together at the Florida TaxWatch Summit was just the beginning!

Subject matter experts addressing the summit outlined quite clearly the impact our immigration and security policies are having on key economic sectors within Florida. Together with information shared by summit participants in the breakout sessions, we are developing a clearer picture of the unintended consequences of our federal policy on Florida’s economy and its taxpayers.

Several summit participants are planning to use the information and ideas shared to organize a coalition of Florida citizens and businesses to encourage the Florida congressional delegation to push for immigration and visa reform. The Center for Competitive Florida is also developing follow up research to better quantify these impacts and the costs associated with them. This site will now act as an information and education resource for those interested in additional information on our research efforts and the coalition. Please check the "Principle/Outcomes" button atop this page for the latest information and developments.

Thank you for your continuing interest,
