TALLAHASSEE -- Florida TaxWatch tapped four top business executives to lead the watchdog group's 2001-2002 Executive Committee. Steven L. Evans, Vice President and Senior State Executive with IBM in Tallahassee, will serve as Chairman. Other committee members hail from Publix Super Markets, First Union National Bank of Florida and Prudential.
"We are very fortunate to have Steven Evans as our new Chair," said Dominic Calabro, president and CEO of Florida TaxWatch. "I look forward to the contribution Mr. Evans will make to our continuing effort to save Florida taxpayers money in the coming years."
Members selected to serve on the Florida TaxWatch Executive Committee include:
