Deborrah Harris

Deborrah Harris is the Grants Coordinator and a Research Analyst for Florida TaxWatch. She is responsible for developing relationships with potential and current donors and project partners, writing proposals, ensuring ongoing grants management and stewardship, and securing funds as a complement to the Florida TaxWatch research program and Centers of Excellence.

Currently, Deborrah is concentrating her fundraising and grant writing efforts to continue the important work of the Center for Educational Performance and Accountability. Deborrah also serves as staff liaison for the ″2005-2010 Strategic Plan″, which was launched in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of Florida TaxWatch.

Before coming to Florida TaxWatch in 1998, she spent eight years working for the Florida Legislature as an editor for the Journal of the House of Representatives and other publications, and later as the Committee Administrative Assistant for the House Committee on Finance & Taxation.

Deborrah and her husband Steve live in Tallahassee with a rotating assortment of six wonderful children and spend their free time shopping for groceries, doing laundry, and taking full advantage of grandparents and Florida′s public education system.
