Deborrah Brodsky

Deborrah Brodsky is Chief of Staff for Florida TaxWatch. Since 1998, she has held positions as Assistant to the President, Research Analyst, Grants Coordinator and Director of Grants. She was promoted to Chief of Staff in October 2008. Ms. Brodsky is responsible for the central coordination of all activities of the organization and its staff. She also maintains her position as Director of Grants, developing relationships with potential and current donors and project partners, writing proposals, ensuring ongoing grants management and contract stewardship, and securing funds as a complement to the research program and the four Centers of Excellence. Deborrah also serves as staff liaison for the “2005-2010 Strategic Plan”, which was launched in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary of Florida TaxWatch.

Before coming to Florida TaxWatch, she spent eight years working for the Florida Legislature as an editor for the Journal of the House of Representatives and other publications, and later as the Committee Administrative Assistant for the House Committee on Finance & Taxation.
