Clarissa Otero Dunlap
Clarissa Otero Dunlap has served as Executive Director of the Prudential Financial - Davis Productivity Awards Program for Florida TaxWatch since April, 2005. The Awards program is a major government improvement initiative chaired by Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp and co-sponsored by Florida TaxWatch, The Florida Council of 100 and the State of Florida. Prior to joining TaxWatch, Clarissa served as new product development representative and regional development representative for five and a half years at VISIT FLORIDA, the state's tourism marketing corporation. Her experience in project management, event planning, sales and marketing greatly add to the success of the Prudential Financial - Davis Productivity Awards program. Clarissa is an active member of the Tallahassee Society of Association Executives and the Florida Society of Association Executives. She is a devoted a mentor at Riley Elementary School and serves as a volunteer on the United Way of the Big Bend's Citizens Review Teams. She is a supporter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and served as a fundraiser and participant in the 2005 Breast Cancer 3-Day event in Boston. She has served and volunteered for several local programs including College Avenue Seminoles, the Red Hills Horse Trials, the Yamaha Big Bend Saltwater Classic, and the Leon County Literacy Program. Clarissa is also a Certified Pilates Instructor and teaches evening classes at a local studio. A native of Puerto Rico, and raised in Tallahassee since the age of nine, Clarissa considers both the state of Florida and the Caribbean island her home. Clarissa is a graduate of Florida State University and resides in Tallahassee with her husband, Davisson. |
